I’m Saifa Kassam, a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner recently welcomed to Mind Self Psychotherapy. I’m licensed to practice in both Canada and the United States, and I bring over six years of experience in inpatient postoperative care, working closely with patients recovering from gynecological, urological, and colorectal surgeries. I also spent two years as a charge nurse and diabetes educator on a medical/surgical unit.
I completed my Master’s degree at Utica University in Utica, New York. I have a strong interest in preventative care and women’s health, and I’m passionate about supporting patients in maintaining long-term wellness. Outside of my clinical practice, I love singing opera, hiking with my dog, and volunteering at my local animal shelter.
